SERVER NETWORK STATUS

 

  All Servers on the VicoloHost Network are Up and Running Smoothly

 

 

 

IMPORTANT!

SERVER: s99
DATE: Saturday, June 4th, 2011

Techs are working to migrate all accounts on s99 to a new more powerful server. This migration process will take a few days to fully complete. This will solve recent service interrruptions.

There will be no nameserver or IP changes.

Server: s98

A script is currently running on server s98 to finally resolve the DB connection problem that sill remained for some sites on that server.

We are once again looking into why SOME sites on s98 still cannot connect to the DB2 server!
This issue is script specific and we are manually reconfiguring the scripts affected as necessary.

The connection problem between the new database server and server s98 has been discovered.
We are working right now to permanently resolve the issue!
(The issue was script-based, not hardware based.)

There is a connection problem between the database server and server s98.
All other servers can connect to the database servers just fine.
 

The techs are looking into the cause for the dropped connection between s98 & DB2

The transfers are completed!
We have brought the hosting servers back up online.

We are currently working some 'bugs' out of the database connection.

New Hosting Servers

We are adding two new hosting servers to our hosting network to provide you with better server performance and reliability.
Those of you currently hosted on server s98 will experience downtime on Monday, April 4th around 3 pm into the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 5th.

This downtime is unavoidable for the proper migration of hosting accounts to the new servers. We will make every attempt to perform the moves as quickly as possible! Additional details and more accurate time schedules will be posted soon!
